About Maxime Guengant

I am Maxime Guengant, an independent photographer and art director.

I create visual campaigns for fashion and accessory brands, blending natural light, texture, and instinctive storytelling.
My work explores the space where aesthetics meet emotion, where artistic direction and sensitivity come together to shape images with depth and intention.

Since childhood, I have been fascinated by what lies beneath the surface.
This attention to atmosphere, detail, and rhythm continues to guide my approach today.
For me, a photograph is never just an image, it is a moment, a story, a feeling taking form.

Three elements guide my creative process:
• Natural light, fluid and unpredictable, revealing the soul of each moment
• Textures, adding depth, presence, and a tactile quality to the image
• Narrative, shaping atmosphere and emotion, turning visuals into stories

I collaborate with international brands such as Jeffrey Campbell, Poppy Lissiman, Cabaïa, as well as emerging designers and creative agencies.

Every project begins with a dialogue: understanding a brand’s essence, identifying what makes it unique, and translating that identity into strong, contemporary visuals.

Based between the Arcachon Basin, Paris, and Hyères.
I also produce and direct shoots throughout France and internationally, managing artistic direction, production, and team coordination.
